The Brother MFC-L2710dw printer uses the TN730 (standard yield) or TN760 (high yield) toner cartridge together with a DR730 drum unit. You need both a toner cartridge a drum unit for your MFC-L2710dw to print. You can reset you Brother toner through the LCD display of your printer.1. First, open the front cover to trigger the LCD display to say "Front Door Open".
2. Press STOP/EXIT and CLEAR at the same time quickly. Soon after, click CLEAR (only) again.
3. This will pull up the RESET menu.
4. Scroll down to locate your toner type. Select TNR-STD if what you have is a standard TN730 yield toner and TNR-HC if what you have is a high capacity or high yield TN760 toner cartridge. Press OK.
5. Confirm the reset by pressing the UP arrow.
6. When the LCD display says "Accepted", you can close the front cover of the printer.
