What ink does the HP ENVY 4520 use?
The HP Envy 4520 color printer uses HP 63 and 63XL inkjet cartridges which come in black and tricolor. The HP 4520 needs a black and tricolor inkjet cartridge to print. Save lots of money when you use low cost compatible high yield ink cartridge replacements for the HP 63 black and tricolor by LD Products. Choose from a standard HP 63 black cartridge (F6U62AN) that prints at least 190 pages or print more with a high yield HP 63XL black cartridge (F6U64AN) that prints 480 pages. Tri-color (F6U61AN standard / F6U63AN high yield) HP 63 cartridges also available. You can get more affordable replacements for both colors.The HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One inkjet printer is HP instant ink ready, but more customers are opting for compatible cartridges that give them actual savings while maintaining full control of their printers.
Where is ink on the HP ENVY 4520?
To locate your HP ENVY 4520 ink cartridges, use the cutouts on the sides of your ENVY 4520 to lift the top of your printer. This will expose the cartridges inside your printer. Wait for the cartridge carrier to stop in the middle before touching the cartridges.How do I change the ink in my HP Envy 4520 printer?
1. Make sure your HP ENVY 4520 printer is powered on.2. Lift the top of the printer using the cutouts on the sides.
3. Wait for the HP 564 ink cartridges to center before touching them.
4. Lift the lid of the HP 564 you'll be replacing.
5. Gently pull out the empty inkjet cartridge. Set aside for recycling.
6. Remove packaging from the new HP 564 cartridge. Be sure to avoid touching the contacts on the cartridge. If you accidentally touch it, you can wipe the contacts with a damp lint-free cloth.
7. Insert the new cartridge into empty slot on the printer. Pull down lid to secure cartridge.
8. Close the top of the printer. Wait for your printer to recognize the new cartridge.
9. You can now start printing.
