FAQs
Which Epson printers use 252 cartridges?
These Epson 252 DURABrite ink cartridge replacements work on these WorkForce printers: WorkForce WF-3620 - WF-3640 - WF-7110 - WF-7210 - WF-7610 - WF-7620 - WF-7710 - WF-7710DWF - WF-7720 - WF-7720DTWF. All these printers are compatible with our economical 9-pack Epson 252 aftermarket ink cartridge set. These non-OEM cartridges are proven to fit, install, and print just as well as original Epson 252 DURABrite cartridges. All of the above-mentioned WorkForce printers need all 4 ink cartridges in order to print. Back to TopWhat's the difference between the Epson 252 and 252XL?
The main difference between a 252 and 252XL is that the 252XL is a high yield cartridge that contains more ink than a standard 252 cartridge. Black: The Epson 252 black is a standard ink cartridge that prints 350 pages. The Epson 252XL black is its high yield counterpart that prints 1,100 pages. A high yield cartridge usually is the same size as the standard but just contains more ink. High yield cartridges install and fit in the same slot as the standard cartridge. Color: There is a high yield cartridge for all Epson 252 color cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow) as well. Each standard Epson 252 color cartridge prints 300 pages. Each high yield Epson 252XL color cartridge prints 1,100 pages. Back to TopHow Many Pages Does the Epson 252XL Print?
A black Epson 252XL cartridge prints 1,100 pages. A colored Epson 252XL cartridge prints 1,100 pages. You can expect to print the same number of pages with compatible Epson 252XL cartridges. Print more and spend less when you shop compatible cartridges! Learn more about page yield here. Back to TopHow long does Epson 252 last?
How long each Epson 252 cartridge lasts will depend on what you print and how often you print. For example, you can expect to run out of ink sooner if you print pages of colored images everyday than if you printed black and white documents only twice a week. An Epson 252XL ink cartridge will last much longer than a standard ink cartridge. Be careful not to let your printer sit idle for too long though especially if you have high yield ink cartridges in it. Inkjet printers--specially the ink in it--tend to dry up when left unused for extended periods of time. For this reason, if you're an infrequent printer user, high yield cartridges are not advisable. Back to TopWhat are Non-OEM or Aftermarket Epson 252XL Ink Cartridges?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer and usually refers to the maker of your printer (HP, Epson, Brother, Canon, etc.). OEM cartridges are notorious for their high price point prompting consumers to look for affordable options elsewhere. Non-OEM, also called aftermarket, ink cartridges are made by a third-party manufacturer and are more affordable than their OEM counterparts. The print quality of non-OEM or aftermarket cartridges now rivals that of OEM cartridges which begs the question: why pay more for a print quality you can get at a better price? Aftermarket cartridges are engineered to work perfectly with your printer--AND will not void your printer's warranty. Back to TopWhat Ink Does an WF-3620 Use?
